Equally adept at stage, screen, and television–and scorchingly hot wherever she goes–Angela Bassett honed her considerable acting chops in productions at Yale School of Drama, where the brainiac beauty earned an MFA. Angela made her film debut in the cult favorite F/X (1986) and broke through to critical (and horndog) acclaim in John Singleton‘s Boyz N the Hood (1991). She got to play wacko Jacko’s mother in the made-for-TV movie The Jacksons: An American Dream (1993). Angela’s star-making breakthrough came as Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to Do with It? (1993), a performance which earned her a Best Actress Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe. She starred as the title character in How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998), playing a divorcée who gets her freak on with a twenty-year-old hunk. She even makes an appearance on American Horror Story: Hotel, getting down and dirty with Lady Gaga during a lesbian sex scene. Moving over to the skin side of things, Angela has only gotten nude in one film, 1991’s City of Hope. The skintillating scene has her lying in bed and letting her beautiful breasts spill out over her chest. You might object to this claim of single-film Bassett nudity if your spank bank contains scenes from Critters 4 (1991) and Supernova (2000). We hate to report to you that those memories are counterfeit: Angela used a body double in both flicks. You can count on Mr. Skin to sniff out whether Ms. Bassett’s assets are real or fake.
